Frank Ocean - Blonde (2016)

Previously here, I had written that I had deleted my previous review because I remembered nothing from Blond
e. That was correct, I even remember writing that "I prefer [Channel Orange] over Blonde any day" on my Channel Orange review, which I then deleted, realizing that I simply didn't remember anything about Blonde. I was very wrong. Blonde might be my new favorite album of all time. It's easier to go through the issues than the good parts, so:
- Too many interludes: There are no many interludes between Nights and White Ferrari, and I don't understand why. It seems unnecessary.
- Futura Free outro: I don't think such a long interview snippet was necessary, honestly. That might just be because it's 1 AM and I have to go to bed soon because I have to do stuff tomorrow because I'm in a rush though.
- Pretty Sweet: That song in general is good but compared to any other track in this album, in my opinion, it is just not very fitting.
- Skyline To: I love the song but, and I have nothing against swear words, I'm not your grandma, but I do think sometimes it just feels like he's abusing the word "fucking". Always saying it in such an aggressive way just kind of makes me feel like it's not that strong at all in fact.

Quad didn't.          This shouldn't come as a surprise to anyone with a brain, but sadly, Quadeca didn't release his upcoming album  Vanisher, Horizon Scraper  on the date that some random fan made up. Shocking, I know.      It was  supposed  to drop June 6th, and even I believed in this theory as shown in my naive blog post from a few days ago .  Now, I would never believe in these malicious idiots trying to scam us... but what if it drops June 13th?  Best wishes, @Eduxk, Jun 6, 2025    Oh, and I guess he also dropped a new snippet, or rather, I'm pretty sure I heard about it being from an Instagram Live so maybe it's not new, maybe I'm making shit up, but  here it is.  Very nice.

Quadeca's "Vanisher, Horizon Scraper" snippet

Scientists have been researching the topic of when Quadeca will drop for many centuries now, and it has always been a mystery. Anyways, Quadeca dropped NOT the album, but a SNIPPET and it's the best thing I've ever heard in my life. You can listen to it  here . I've been looping it for, well, only 5 minutes because it's 47 seconds long and it's starting to get repetitive but this on the album might change my life. Also, it's called "6.mp4" which leads me to speculate that it will be the 6th track of the album? I don't know, I also don't care that much about the position on the album, I'd just like to know when Quadeca is dropping. EDIT: WHAT IF 6 MEANS 6TH JUNE I WILL DO SOMETHING BAD IF IT DOESN'T DROP 6TH JUNE. - Eduxk, 2nd June 2025  Drop, Quadeca. Please.

Quadeca - SCRAPYARD (2024)

 SCRAPYARD -  ★★★★☆   I think this is an excellent mixtape. I have only recently gotten into Quadeca's music (like, weeks ago recently). I had only ever heard of him before from his KSI diss-track era, which I did not particularly enjoy. I didn't even know he changed at all, and I hadn't heard of him after that era. Until, a few weeks ago, one of my favorite music YouTubers talked about him and I was compelled to listen to his 2022 album I Didn't Mean To Haunt You, which I absolutely adored as seen in my other review, on my profile. After that, the next album (or rather, mixtape) I wanted to listen to was obviously this, after seeing it had such great reviews. When I did, initially, I was feeling a bit disappointed, but after a bit of reflection, it's great. So many amazing songs, and it feels like it is telling a story. I've listened to it very recently and haven't been able to reflect much more on it, and if I do figure more out, I will modify this review ...
